1. General Broker License Requirements in Colorado
The general requirements for real estate broker defined by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies-Real Estate Division are as follows:

3. Additional Broker License Requirements in Colorado
If you meet the general requirements and have completed your required course credit hours, you will need to complete the following steps to get your broker license:
- Apply for the broker examination
- Submit fingerprints for a criminal background check
- Successfully pass the Colorado broker licensing exam with a score of 75% or higher
- Complete the Colorado Real Estate License application
